Professional Affiliations
The St. Petersburg/Clearwater Area Convention and Visitor's Bureau's Sports Department enjoys its relationships with local, regional, national and international sports partners in developing our area into the single best destination for teams, tournaments and events.
Regionally
We work with the Florida Sports Foundation as it represents the state of Florida to the world for the state's sports interests. We also collaborate with other sports commissions and organizations such as Florida Recreation & Park Association on regional events and in the interest of making the state of Florida the number one sports destination for the world.
Nationally
We are members of the National Association of Sports Commissions, American Swimming Coaches Association, National Fastpitch Coaches Association and U.S. Lacrosse. We support all the National Governing Bodies (NGB's), independent event organizers, all collegiate governing associations and all professional sports organizations.
Internationally
We support the efforts of all sports organizations and teams that compete on the international playing field.
